The second set design.
By myself and Maddie Govier

As a Group we all decided to use the the Second set design because the first design was made to be produced in the studio with the tv's behind the presenters but thought we wouldn't have a lot of space to set up as its a tight area to work with, not to mention the other equipment that'll be in the room. Therefore we thought the second idea would look to be more official. With great use of our group member of a green screen, and a tv on the corner for purposes that will be later explained.

3 - Mini Evaluation of report. Justifying Mine and My groups decisions.

We chose the running order by first starting with the introduction introducing the show in the studio following the conventions of a up to date news show. We chose to word it by 'Today we have an urgent message to send out to the public this morning.' This is to show our main point of this story, which is to inform our viewers. To get their attention straight away.

We chose this to not go straight to the V.t only because we thought it was important for the story to be introduced first.

It is important to have a primary report, this means that it hadn't of came from any where else. So we chose to do the primary report first. 'I am out side of farry gait crescent where late last night a 3 year old boy went missing' because its more reliable.

After we had chose to do the secondary report only because its not as important as there is a possibility of it being biased, but still as important only because the views still want to know what going on.

We decided to cut to V.t of parents speaking for sympathy reasons, to help look for the poor boy.

We then decided to do a voice over to inform the audience of his appearance, to know what to look for when looking for Kular. Then decided to have a Horizontal scrolling text when the presenter says 'please call 99 or visit www.bbcnewrs/help.com'

Biased or Non Biased?

Some articles are hard to tell if they are truly factional or biased meaning the article were based on perspectives of the writer, factional articles will include evidences and recourses to prove their story is based on facts. However, i found this article on Mail online; http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2536388/Collector-spent-20-years-80-000-worlds-biggest-scratchcard-collection-refuses-hes-won-anything.html, it is indeed based on reality, we know this because the story they have based it about has a VT to confirm what the article said were true, This is known as a Interview.

Some bits of this article will indeed have some biased comments that may not be factional and May have no evidence to suggest its true. Some writers may do this because it may play an advantage to 'spice' up the article a bit, to present it to the audience to make it a more interesting story. Some other writers may do this because they are shadowed by their biased opinion. It's easy to put a theory to a story that can't be proved. Introducing a story of which they try manipulating the audience to such an a extent to be believed in and have more viewers.

I believe this article has a few biased comments for example: 'Collection accumulated since 1994'. You may think this would be a silly thing to lie about, but if you think about it how do we know that the collection accumulated since 1994? with out any evidence to suggest thats true, anything could of been possible. This is important because that comment makes the man their talking about. for example if he'd got the majority from ebay, the audience wouldn't care as much on the other hand would if he did collect them half his life.
